Support Episcopal Church congregations across eastern North Carolina The candidate will provide receptionist and administrative support for each department.
The candidate must be detailed oriented with precise data entry skills and maintain the ability to multi-task while working quickly, efficiently and with accuracy.
The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
This is a Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9-5.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following but is not limited to:
Responsible for organizing and managing multiple document sets.
Manage spreadsheets, software, files, and folders.
Analyze and prepare office data in the form of letters, purchase requisitions, or reports as needed.
Attend meetings.
Greet and Direct Visitors.
Answer phones and process messages appropriately.
Pick-up, Drop-off, and sort mail.
Coordinate meetings and lunches.
Stock office and Hospitality supplies.
Photocopy & Fax.
File.
Data Entry.
Coordinate benefits for staff and parishes as needed.
Order office & hospitality supplies (with supervisor's approval).
Maintain the cleanliness of the Lobby, Courtyard (includes appropriately watering plants), Kitchen and all meeting rooms.
Administrative support:
includes providing secretarial assistance as assigned, assisting with mass mailings, assisting with preparation of annual Diocesan Convention and other Diocesan events including registrations.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with computers (i.
e.
, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong typing skills.
Ability to multitask.
Professional manner and strong ethical code.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Required.
Associate degree in office management, Office Administration or a Business-related program.
Preferred.
Employer will accept two years of related experience in lieu of degree.
