Some of the key responsibilities of a Personal Care Assistant may include:
1.
Assisting with Personal Care:
The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for assisting individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2.
Supporting Mobility:
The Personal Care Assistant may be responsible for assisting individuals with mobility needs, such as transferring from a bed to a wheelchair, and supporting individuals during walks or other forms of exercise.
3.
Administering Medication:
The Personal Care Assistant may be responsible for administering medication according to prescribed schedules and documenting the administration of medication.
4.
Providing Companionship:
The Personal Care Assistant may be responsible for providing companionship and emotional support to individuals, engaging in conversation, and participating in activities with them.

Assisting with Meal Preparation:

Pay:
Negotiated based on degree and/or experience.
