Criminal Background Annual Physical TB Skin Test Commercial Driver's License Class B w/ P (Passenger) and S (School) Bus Endorsements Job Duties:
Transports children to and from the center on scheduled bus routes in a safe manner; Transports children to field trips, classrooms, and other designated sites as needed; Performs maintenance and safety checks on vehicles on a daily basis before and after each bus route; Reports all accidents to the Transportation/IT Coordinator/Transportation Program Assistant in accordance with agency/program transportation policies; Observes all safety procedures and regulations as outlined in the agency/program transportation policies; Maintains daily transportation roster, mileage log, and daily inspection sheet; Attends mandatory training sessions called by the Transportation/IT Coordinator; Attends mandatory Agency trainings; Perform Bus Evacuation procedures three times during the program year; Incorporate School Readiness on the route; Attend parent conferences when requested; Attend parent conferences/meetings when requested; and, Assist with cleaning of the bus Establishes and maintains open working relationships with the community, Agency staff, and administrators.
Perform additional duties assigned by management 3 Ability to lift a minimum of 35lbs Preferred
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED Commercial Driver's License Class B w/ P (Passenger) and S (School) Bus Endorsements Current North Carolina Department of Transportation Physical Must have a current School Bus Pocket Card Clean driving record Sex Offender Record Check Job Type:
