Mountain Air Cargo
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Responsible for inspection, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft to meet company, FAA and customerstandards.
This includes:
o Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches in order to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part.
o Can detect errors and correct through proper departmental channelso Schedules items through the shop to maintain on-time deliverieso Checks all mechanical components prior to installation to prevent damageo Accurately estimates hours and materials for scheduled jobso Ability to operate all required ground support equipment
Qualifications:
o Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactionso Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA Regulationso Thorough working knowledge and use of MM, IPC, SRM and other manufacturers repair and troubleshooting documentso Thorough working knowledge of blueprints, work orders and task cards to determine type of configuration and special instructions prior to installationo Extensive knowledge of aircraft accessories, components and other hardwareo Comprehensive knowledge of estimating hours and materials for completing projectso Complete knowledge of aircraft fasteners and applicationso Complete knowledge of all related skill area machines, equipment and hand toolso Ability to install and rig aircraft flight control surfaceso Ability to operate aircraft systemso Ability to do engine run-up and trim enginesMust have a command of the English language, both written and verbalSPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
o Wear appropriate PPE as designated in each work area (e.
g.
safety glasses, etc.
)o High School diploma or equivalento Airframe and Power Plant Licenseo Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbalo Must possess a valid driver licenseSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

o General Safetyo Quality System AwarenessWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
o Heavy physical effort required on occasiono Continuous mental and visual attention requiredo Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulationso Work performed in a shop environment on a regular basiso Occasional travel to line stationso Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeableo Must be available to travel up to 30% for work at different workstations as needed, and/or shifts from one station location to anotherMountain Air Cargo, Inc.
