Conferring with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discussing work to be performed.
Examining vehicles by providing professional level inspections to determine wear and extent of damage or malfunctions.
Assisting technicians with their skills, providing technical support when needed and monitoring performance and productivity.
Repair and maintain all automobiles in the Nissan product line Adequately note/document completed repairs and concerns though ADP/CDK Testing and adjusting required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications.
Ensuring that the shop is in excellent condition in regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conducting periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service.
Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using equipment such as infrared engine analyzer, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
Qualifications/Requirements - KIA Master Technician:
Must have KIA Master Technician Certification Extreme focus must be put on customer satisfaction! ASE Certification by The National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence in all 8 automotive specialty areas (engine repair, engine performance, heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, automatic transmissions, manual transmission and axle, brakes and front end) At least five years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
Be willing to work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals.
Adhere to the highest ethical standards.
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Computer skills.
Must supply own tools (special/job-specific tools and equipment provided by the dealership) Must hold a valid driver's license.
