This position coordinates prospective consumer admissions and submits for initial and concurrent authorization of service.
The Authorization & Admissions Assistant is also responsible for networking with outside agencies in shepherding any potential consumers and referral sources.
This position is the additional point of contact for admissions and authorizations of services provided at NOVA, INC.
under the supervision of the Authorization / Admission Specialist.
This position is also responsible for submitting ESI's into the state's IRIS system.

Requirements:
A successful Authorizations & Admissions Assistant at NOVA possesses:
The desire to make a difference in the lives of children with emotional challenges (Required) Graduate of an accredited college or university with a nursing degree or a bachelor's degree in a related human service field with a strong emphasis on documentation, strong interpersonal, and clerical skills AND ? Two years of full-time, post nursing degree or bachelor's accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with population served.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
