Brief Job Description
Affordable Care, Inc., a rapidly growing dental services organization, has an opening for an Administrative Assistant in Kinston, NC.
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to the VP Laboratory Operations and the Laboratory Operations team while interacting with other departments within the company as needed. This position requires a poised, polished professional that functions with a high level of integrity, confidentiality and excellence. Other primary functions include calendar management, travel planning, expense management and regular in-person, telephone and email communication with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. We are looking for a self-starter who possesses sound judgment as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsible for

General Office Administrative Duties:
Be available to respond to Practice Owner calls and concerns and route to appropriate department keeping the VP of Laboratory Operations abreast.
Meeting Planning and Coordination (internal and external meetings)
General Office Administration including but not limited to ordering supplies, office equipment monitoring and maintenance, document preparation, ad hoc projects and assignments

Executive Support Administrative Duties:
Provide general administrative/clerical support including report preparation and data entry projects
Travel scheduling and quality control maintenance for interim lab staffing
Maintenance and distribution of company specific manuals for management staff and field personnel
The Administrative Assistant must possess meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, reliability and exhibit a positive influence on overall office environment through a friendly and upbeat disposition and enthusiastic approach. This position requires pride in accomplishing tasks thoroughly, accurately and quickly with ability to apply skills to be helpful to co-workers.
Education and Experience Requirements

H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree and up to one year related experience preferred.

Previous office administrative and some travel management experience desired
Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written skills required

Must possess interpersonal / listening skills to interact effectively with individuals of all backgrounds, experience and educational levels
Computer Skills

Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment desired
